First Rice Cereal and Apple Juice

Her first taste of rice cereal was made with breast milk. I didn't heat it so it was cold. She ate the whole bowl. I also gave her apple juice with it and she shook and made a terrible face. The second day I gave her cereal she hated it. I tried warming it and she still hated it. I made it thinner and she still hated it. I ended up throwing it away. I gave her apple juice by itself and she loved it. She held her own sippy cup and drank almost the whole thing. Of course it was watered down but it's still something new. We were just impressed that she held her own sippy!
