Trip to San Antonio

Mark was in need of a vacation from work so we decided to take a last minute trip to San Antonio. Since they messed around trying to fix his truck we got a free minivan for the week! We found a hotel great for kids and took the girls to natural bridge safari park on the way. The first day at the hotel we swam around the pools and ate at one of the yummy restaurants. The girls made s'mores then rolled around the grassy hills on the golf course.

The next day we did the pool and slides again. Then took the girls to the riverwalk for dinner. We realized it wasn't a very good idea to take a baby in a stroller there. Stairs were EVERYWHERE. Mark grabbed the front and I held the handle and we walked the stroller up and down te stairs. There were no elevators at all, not even in the restaurant. We won't be back there for a while. The girls missed s'mores that night and I think they would have had more fun doing that than the riverwalk.

Thursday we swam and rode slides again. They had a painting class for the kids and the girls LOVED it. Then we went out to eat outside the hotel since the food was outrageously expensive. The line for s'mores was way too long so we just let the girls rolled down the hills of the golf course. All the kids were having a blast.

Friday we swam again for a while them headed home. It was so fun and the hotel was so nice we are definitely going back next year.
