She cried the entire first day. When I picked her up her eyes were so swollen from crying. Her "little" eye was almost swollen shut and her normal eye looked like what her "little" eye looks like normally. It was sad. She ate and slept well but that was about it. Her teacher is really nice though.
She cried again really bad the 2nd day too. They said she participated in all the activities but she just cried while she did them. Her teacher said the saddest part was how Alysse used words to tell her that she was sad and wanted her mommy and daddy. She said most kids just cry but Alysse actually told her. It broke her teachers heart. She couldn't believe how much she talked and how clear her words were.
It will be a while before she is comfortable going there. I like it so far despite Alysse's sadness. She would be sad regardless where she is. Hopefully she will get used to it soon!
