Who knew?

Well we have a little artist on our hands!!  Avery's art teacher entered into the Ft Bend county fair art show so we went to see which art work was entered. Avery had no idea which piece was being judged. There was so much art and when we got to the last row, there is was hanging up with all the biggest winners. She won three awards - one of which (the rosette) was the highest honor at the fair!!!  They wanted to put her picture in the newspaper!  Her art teacher told me that middle school gets cash if they receive this award - that's how "prestigious" this award is in school. I was so happy for Avery - who knew we had such a good artist in the family??? She definitely did not get that talent from me!!!
